CHARLOTTE BOOTH - FOUNDER

Founded by Charlotte Booth, a seasoned HR professional with over 20 years of experience living in Qatar, our mission is to help individuals and families settle in Qatar with ease, so they can feel truly at home.

Charlotte’s journey in Qatar has shaped her unique perspective on business, culture, and personal development, enabling her to offer firsthand experience to clients. She deeply understands the stress and emotional challenges that often come with relocating, especially for expatriates and their families. Relocating to a new country is one of the most stressful life events, and at Start on Sunday, we are here to ease that transition, offering support at every step.

Charlotte first moved to Qatar in 2002 with her family and attended school here before returning to the UK for university. But it didn’t take long before both she and her husband returned to Doha for work opportunities. They have since gone on to have two beautiful children who were born here and go to school here. Over the years, Charlotte has worked as an HR professional collaborating with diverse teams, building long-lasting relationships, and gaining a deep understanding of the region’s unique business dynamics. She has seen first hand how the lack of relocation support from organisations for employees can cause some of the best staff to leave Qatar very soon after arriving because they just did not feel settled, which is what Start on Sunday aim to address.
